Sigtuna Municipality

SSPF – a collaboration model

The municipality's crime prevention work is based on collaboration between several different local actors. The municipality works with the police, the rescue services, SigtunaHem and other organizations to prevent crime and increase safety.

Together they work, among other things, to counter domestic violence, reduce recruitment into criminal networks, combat organized crime and create safe public spaces.

SSPF — Collaboration between School, Social Services, Police, and Field Workers — is a cooperation model aimed at young people showing signs of substance abuse or criminal activity. With the parents' consent, staff from the school, social services, police, and field workers come together to discuss and create a support plan.

The goal is always to provide the right help at the right time.
